Nothing makes a beautiful spring afternoon feel more special than an afternoon gathering of friends and neighbors accompanied by delicious treats, beautiful music and flowers and a lively, tasty selection of teas. On arrival, you will be greeted with champagne, and then you will take a seat at the table set with beautiful china, a charming tablescape, and delectable treats. A variety of courses will be served, accompanied by teas carefully selected to complement the scones, tea sandwiches and sweets. As you settle into the warm and friendly setting, we will share a little about the origin of teas, the treats historically served, and a bit of history of Afternoon and high Teas. In the tradition of Afternoon tea, beautiful hats, fascinators (and of course pearls) are highly encouraged but not required.
