The Oracle School District (OSD) may be small, but its goals are big. Its tagline, Small Town Roots. Global Expectations., reflects those goals.

 

Funding has at times though, been a real challenge. That is why a few concerned citizens started a foundation to help fill the gap. Their efforts resulted in the Oracle Schools Foundation’s (OSF) May 2015 approval as a 501(c)3 status by the IRS. The OSF’s vision is to “be a beacon of excellence in public education” and the mission is to provide “financial and related support to ensure that every Oracle student has unlimited opportunity to succeed.”

As of November 2025, the Foundation had raised over $1,000,000. Donations to the Oracle Schools Foundation are tax deductible but entirely separate from Arizona’s tax credit program. Under the state’s tax credit program (for 2025), individuals are allowed to donate $200 to any public school district or $495 to an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Contribution Organization (AZQCO) and reduce their state tax bill by that same amount. Couples can give more. Donations to the OSF reduce a taxpayer’s tax liability on Federal taxes and may be made in addition to making a tax credit contribution.
