- Date and Location: A mutually-determined date and time in October or November (Becky will contact you shortly after the Gala so you can get a date on your calendar). The event will be held at her home, 63947 Whispering Tree Lane.
Thai restaurants gained popularity during the 1960s and 1970s because of American soldiers returning from serving in Southeast Asia. In 2002 the U.S. Government developed a “gastrodiplomacy” initiative which promoted the cuisine globally by exporting chefs to the U.S. Becky Hubbard, known for her stellar reputation as a first-class hostess, is offering a chance to taste her Thai cuisine in the comfort of her home. Her dishes for the evening will include: fresh spring rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, beef green curry with vegetables, fish fillet with Thai sweet chili paste sauce, shrimp pad Thai and sweet sticky rice with mango and coconut sauce. Dinner will be paired with wines.
