Get ready to enjoy an evening of American standards from the Great American Song Book, featuring The Catalina Chorale, under the direction of Randall Dighton, Professional Guitarist. The concert will feature some of the most important and influential American popular song standards that have been written since the start of the early 20thcentury. If you like the composed music of Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter (think stage plays like Oklahoma, etc.), in addition to modern pieces of music such as There is Nothing Like a Dame, Up on the Roof, Camelot, Jamaica Farewell, Getting to Know You, and People Will Say We’re in Love, then you will absolutely enjoy this outstanding concert. While listening to the familiar songs and sounds, you will be treated to hearty and special hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. You will feel inclined to sing along, making the evening even more memorable.
